Remember the movie “Panic Room” starring Jodie Foster where she and her daughter bought a four-story brownstone on the Upper West Side of New York City and outfitted with a panic or safe room? Many people, including myself, thought how nice it would be to have such a room in our homes.
Simply put, a safe room is a secure, reinforced, and well-stocked room where people can go to avoid the risks and potential dangers that may arise in other parts of a home. But how do you create a safe room in your house?
